I decided to move to a new ISP. The transition isn’t over yet, but moving the blog took some time although it was from WordPress to WordPress. The problems I encountered were due to the difference in the WordPress versions from the old ISP to the new.
I couldn’t export from version 2.2.1 and import to version 2.3.2. I posted some questions at wordpress.com but I didn’t get any answer for the problem. I decided to edit the XML file and noticed that the format is different between the two releases.
All in all, I copied and pasted all the posts from the old blog to the new. It took about an hour or so but it seems everything is back as it supposed to be.
